This is an incredible Alexander McQueen short sleeve jacket from his Fall / Winter 2009 Horn of Plenty ready to wear collection. Lee dedicated this show to his mother, Joyce Barbara McQueen, who passed away the following February.

This little jacket is shown on the runway in a black and white houndstooth, but ours is solid black wool cashmere blend. This double breasted, fully lined piece is beautifully tailored with wing like "sleeves" resembling those found on a capelet. The gorgeous knotted buttons are themselves really beautiful.

Marked as a size 42, the coat fits a size 6 comfortably. The jacket is 95% wool and 5% cashmere and was made in Italy.

There will never be another designer quite like Alexander Mcqueen!
